Round 6
Belgian Grand Prix






The IRL World Championship continues it's European league which brings us to Belgium.  Spa-Francorchamps, notorious for its unpredictable weather, where frequently drivers confront a part of the course that is clear and bright while another stretch is rainy and slippery. Over the years, the Spa course has been modified several times. The track was originally 15 kilometres which has now been shortened to 7 km. Spa probably demonstrates the importance of driver skill more than any other in the world. This is largely due to the Eau Rouge and Blanchimont corners, both which need to be taken flat out to achieve a fast run onto the straights after them, which aids a driver in both a fast lap and in overtaking. The most famous part of the circuit is the Eau Rouge / Raidillon combination, the corner requires an amount of skill from the driver to negotiate it well and the long straight ahead produces good overtaking opportunities for drivers at the following "Les Combes" corner.

Who do you think has the bottle to take Eau Rouge flat out and who do you think will crash-out at Eau Rouge?
I know I can take it flat out, it just means I'm more likely to cut it. As for who'll crash, me and Craig probably.

Who will lose their F1 seat first Stroll or Palmer?
Stroll hopefully, Palmer isn't great but he's a hell of a lot better than Stroll.

I think everyone will take it flat. The struggle is keeping it inside the white lines to avoid penalties and out of the walls if you oversteer. First to crash? Could easily be anyone. But more likely someone in a slower car that isn't as balanced. I've already hit the barrier twice and had a near miss during the practice race. Wouldn't be surprised if I'm the one to bin it haha!

Who is your current Season Rival?
Many drivers on the grid have given me a hard time so far this season.
Narayan in Bahrain, Tizoq and Chicken in Canada, JHT and Rusty in Britain.
In the dry quali in Britain Sargent outqualified me on the same tyre and had the same pace as me in practice there and also at the next race in Belgium. So I expect it to be tough to continue to get good results. So there isn't really just one standout person so far rather a group!

Who do you think will win the Driver's Title?
Nothing is set in stone at this point, but this is probably my last season league racing; therefore I will be trying very hard to take the drivers title here. I've always had consistency but never been quick enough. It's my first realistic performance league and the first time I've found myself in this position; maybe this suits me?
All I can do is try my best and hope for the best!

Who will lose their F1 seat first Stroll or Palmer?
Palmer. But I really hope for the love of god it's Stroll!

I could take it flat with a previous setup... I will crash there the possibility is even higher when wet.

I think Stroll, he had a really poor showing in all of the GPs.

Malc due to similar pace and Sargent, we often seem to share the same part of track.

Because of the money behind Stroll I think Palmer will go first.

I think we all do it's just who comes out the other side

 and who do you think will crash-out at Eau Rouge?

Don't know but hopefully not me as I've sacrificed some speed for stability

Easy flat in quali, full fuel will be an issue for drivers in Ren,Manor and Sauber.

Tranq has a head start but I'm sure I can eat into his lead will be tough against such a consistent driver.

Tranq has the lead so the pressure is on him.

stroll and palmer will both lose their seat at the end of the season imo
