IRL F1 World Championship
Round 6
Austrian Grand Prix

Round 6 of the Invictus World Championship moves to Austria for the Austrian Grand Prix.

The Austrian Grand Prix has been held at two different locations in the Zeltweg area located in Spielberg in southeastern Austria. It was first held at an airfield there for two years, then a permanent race track called the Österreichring was built in 1969 and Formula One first raced there in 1970 and each subsequent race has been held there in three distinct periods as the circuit has been redeveloped and sold.

I'll come back to this question once the car allocation is out.

It was a fantastic race. So many great battles and overtakes.

Michael Schumacher.

Winner next race? Not sure, so many of you guys are lighting fast so could be anyone from 5 or 6 drivers.

I did not race at COTA so nothing to say about that. I was gutted to miss it though.

Fav driver? Schumacher.

Historic cars? All of them 😀👍

Can't make any predictions until I know everyones car allocation but I expect it to be close.
USA was great in terms of pace but missed out on 2nd because of a silly mistake but 3rd with a 1 stop and no penalties+a sauber is still something to be proud of.
Favourite driver: Obviously Kimi haha
Classic cars I'm looking forward to is the Fw14b(favourite ever car) and Kimi's f2007

Predictions - Pole, Race Winner, Podium Finishers, Fastest Lap?
Pole - UnomiwonKentucky
Race Winner - TamLad
Podium - Yarhamm & Jamiemet92
Fastest Lap - UnomiwonKentucky

What are your thoughts on USA last race?
For myself it was pretty boring as a result of being allocated a car too quick for my pace, but very enjoyable to watch the stream. Some great battles throughout the pack and some great overtaking moves. Hoping for similar action in Austria.

Favourite driver of all time?
It's a difficult one. Senna was one of the greats, but Alonso is something special and Schumacher was the Maestro. It has to be Senna.

Classic cars are coming back to f12017, what classic car you would be looking forward to drive?
The Renault R26. The car is a monster.

Q5, very happy my laps in the inter conditions did think of pitting toward to end, for dries but track wasnt dry enough

R10 (9th after pens) I was confident about my pace during the race however I reacted slowly to the lights and got spun into the barrier and lost of FW, after that it was pretty lonely and I lost my focus for the first stint making a few stupid errors, then I pitted for supers on lap 18 and as soon as I exited the pits the SC came out which let me catch up to the pack, but I knew my tires wouldn't get to to the end (I just caught the train by the end of SC), so with six laps to go I pitted for ultras for a bit of fun and try and get a FL which I did in the end, the points were a bonus

Video

Summary: Bit annoyed at the my start as I think I had the pace for the podium here but at least I finished in the points
